Just wondered what teams you all follow other than the raiders?
For me its the New york rangers who are struggling a bit at the moment but managed to beat the Devils the other night thanks to 41 saves from king Henrik! So will be a close call if they scrap into the playoffs or not, having watched 90% of the rangers games this season i think we may just miss out although jokinen seems to have improved the powerplay production, although that wasnt difficult. |

Yeah! Rangers too for me - my wife always made sure we watched them cos she had a crush on Kasparaitus when he was there. Just sort of got into them from then. Haven't seen them much this year tho.
Quite like the Leafs too - at least they're on telly quite a bit and also Toronto is the only NHL city we've ever been to and we loved it! |

Go Leafs Go - Toronto Maple Leafs - the only team to watch, never a dull moment and now look as though we have a goalie that will win us games. Have seen them 3 times this season and yet to see them win so when we get to see them in New York vs Islanders I think we just might have a great chance.
Have been to 24 of the 30 Arenas and have to say the Canadians have the most passionate fans followed by the Flames. |

| It's the Avs for me.Since winning the Stanley Cup in Ray Borques final season we have struggled to the point of coming bottom last season all the retirements of big time players.Roy,Forsbergs injuries then moving,Sakic etc can't replace them overnight.Good draft pick in Duchenee and the other rookies coming in starting to gel.Bit erratic but the future is bright. |

Go Flames Go
Courtesy of NASN as was. Stayed up one night watched Jerome Iginla score a couple and beat the hell out of some poor sod and the interest sparked from there.
How come Phaneuf starts looking like a player again now he has scappered over to the Leafs. _________________ Still Crazy After All These Beers

Canucks It helps that my dad lives in Vancouver, but I just love the nucks.
GM Place rocks, and hopefully the rest of the world will be able to see that when the Olympics hockey is on display there.
More locally there, it's the Langley Chiefs of the British Columbia Hockey League. It's amazing to see the talent and skill of the young hockey mad Canadians, not to mention the beautiful condition of their ice rinks!
The Chiefs have developed players such as Edmonton Oiler Shawn Horcoff and future NHL superstar and one time Canadian Junior “A” Hockey Player of the Year Jeff Tambellini. A good example of someone who is really showing how good the BCHL is, is Milan Lucic of the Boston Bruins.
Can't wait for the Olympics to start! Go Canada Go!!! _________________ Make some noise for the Wightlink boys! |

I played for a team and we were lucky enough to go meet and watch the Canadiens train ( and play a couple of games too) in the old forum whilst on tour in Monntreal and Quebec City in 1992. We met Guys like Guy Carbonneau, Patrick Roy, Benoit Brunet, Savard, Muller, and many more. We were so well looked after, including tours, freebies etc., it was the start of me supporting them. (I had previously watched them play in Wembley during the Heineken League days.)
I have since been back to Montreal several times and watched the mighty Habs play in the Bell Centre, it is a truly amazing arena, no doubt the best and biggest in the show with the most passionate fans!
Go Habs Go!
By the way good to see Bob Gainey has stepped down, and trade Price and keep Halak!! |
